Another ‘Okkadu’ in Tollywood The word ‘Okkadu’ is used plenty of times in Tollywood. Many films had titles like ‘Okkadu Chaalu’, ‘Oke Okkadu’ ,’Okkadu’, ‘Okkadunnadu’, ‘Veedokkade’, ‘Veerudokkade’ and many others. Nara Rohit’s upcoming film is titled as ‘Appatlo Okadundevaadu’. Now the film is Inkokkadu which is directed by Anand Shankar and music is composed by Harish Jaya raj. The Lead roles in this film Nithya Menen, Vikram, Nayantara. Neelam Krishna Reddy under the banner NKR Films acquired Telugu Rights.
Inkokkadu film is a dubbed version of Kollywood movie Iru Mugan and it is action thriller written and directed by Anand Shankar and the hero of this film is Chiyaan Vikram is known for his special roles in films like Aparichithudu, Mallanna and I. Right now, Vikram is going through a rough phase in his career and wants to bounce back with his new film Iru Mugan which is dubbed in Telugu as Inkokkadu.

Inkokkadu Teaser and Trailer Review
The first look of the Teaser is out which mostly comprised of actions scenes at the foreign location of Malaysia with the glimpses of the two beautiful leading ladies Nayantara and Nithya Menon. The climax of the teaser is interesting showcasing Vikram covered with a gas mask performing an experiment in the laboratory.
The recently released trailer got a huge response and raised the expectations on the Movie.

As per the latest updates about this film is Vikram’s Inkokkadu movie has successfully completed it’s Tamil version censor formalities and got a clean ‘U/A’ certificate from the censor board. Iru Mugan Theatrical Trailer already created a sensation and now everybody eagerly waiting for the movie release.
Inkokkadu gets Record Sum in Telugu
Vikram’s much-awaited film ‘Inkokkadu’, the Telugu version of Tamil thriller Iru Mugan, has got a record sum for the Telugu theatrical.
According to latest reports, the Telugu rights have been acquired by Neelam Krishna Reddy of NKR films for a price of Rs. 11 crore. For Vikram who has not scored a single hit in the Telugu states, this is the highest price ever paid in the two Telugu states for the actor.
Vikram’s last outing with maverick director Shankar got a good opening and did business of close to Rs 30 crore in the Telugu states alone.
Trade sources believe that the expectations among the audience are higher post the release of the trailer, which has also increased the film’s box office potential. The actor’s dual role – transgender avatar and that of a RAW officer Akhilan – are seen as drivers, which could fetch footfalls in huge numbers.
Vikram Own Voice For Two Characters!
Actor Chiyaan Vikram’s own voice for one of the two characters he essays in Inkokkadu, the Telugu version of his next Tamil film Irumugan. The film is set to release on September 8.
