Lea Seydoux to Play Female Lead in Gambit?
Blue is the Warmest Color star Lea Seydoux has allowed the part of the female lead in the upcoming X-Men spinoff Gambit. She would also be seen in the next instalment of the James Bond franchise SPECTRE. The shooting for Gambit would start in October.
Lea would play the role of Bella Donna Boudreaux in the X-Men spinoff. The character made her first appearance in the year 1992’s ‘X-Men’ Vol. 2 #8 & was created by Jim Lee and Scott Lobdell. Being the daughter of the leader of the Assassin’s Guild, she was promised to marry Remy LeBeau – Gambit – who was the leader of the Thieves’ Guild, to unite the groups. Gambit would be directed by Rupert Wyatt and is scheduled to release on October 7 next year. Josh Zemuter would write the script. Producing the project would be Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin, Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg.
