Superstar Salman Khan’s latest release Indo-Pak drama “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” has grossed Rs.300 crore mark at the box office. It is heard that this film is becoming the second Hindi film to achieve the “enviable status” soon after Aamir Khan’s “PK”.
The film is directed by Kabir Khan and from the day of its release i.e. on July 17 a day before the pious ocassion of Eid the film has continued the collections records.
This has collected Rs.2.45 crore on Wednesday i.e. on August 5 and crossed the Rs.300 crore mark in 20 days since its release according to sources.
Taran Adarsh tweeted on Thursday that, “#BajrangiBhaijaan crosses Rs.300 crore in India… second film to achieve the ENVIABLE status, after #PK… second HIGHEST grosser ever. Hindi films.”
On the other hand Salman’s 1994 stupendous hit film “Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!” which was released 21 years ago has achieved the Rs.300 crore mark on August 5 alike the new one.
Adarsh shared, “5 Aug 1994. #HAHK releases. Creates HISTORY… 5 Aug 2015. Exactly 21 years later, #BajrangiBhaijaan too creates HISTORY, crosses Rs.300 crore.
He added, #BajrangiBhaijaan (Week 3) Friday Rs.4.11 crore, Saturday Rs.6.80 crore, Sunday Rs.9.07 crore, Monday Rs.2.75 crore, Tuesday Rs.2.63 crore, Wednesday Rs.2.45 crore. Total: Rs.300.06 crore. ATBB (all-time blockbuster).”
