Salman khan hit and run case to july
The Bombay High Court Monday adjourned the hearing of actor Salman Khan’s appeal against his five-year sentence, recently awarded by a sessions court in the 2002 hit-and-run case. His lawyers cited that the case papers were not ready.
Justice A R Joshi was informed by senior counsel Amit Desai that his case “paperbook” (compilation of evidence and documents) was not ready and upon instruction he also it was uncertain when it would be prepared.
Public prosecutor Sandip Shinde did not raise any objection. The case was, therefore, adjourned to July 1 for further directions while the court asked the defense to carry out the work expeditiously.
